The East Kingdom Webministry maintains an online Help Desk Portal located at http://helpdesk.eastkingdom.org to better serve the Kingdom's needs.

From the main page, the "Support Center Home" is highlighted as that is the page you are on.

Across that top menu bar there are three other choices, namely the Knowledgebase, Open a New Ticket, and Check Ticket Status.

For this guide, we are interested  in the Open a New Ticket choice.

Left Click on the area labeled "Open a New Ticket" and it will highlight to denote a change in page.

The page now shows:

We were receiving SPAM tickets prior to setting up Logins. As it says, "To better serve you, we encourage our Clients to register for an account."

All members of the Kingdom are our "Clients".

If you have not already registered, it is simple to create a Login by clicking on the choice "Create and account" to the Left:

Please note that only current Webministers may use the other link on the Left, as they are the "Agents" serving the "Clients" needs.

Once you click on the "Create an account" link, it will show you the Registration page:

Please follow the instructions found there to create your login, "Use the forms below to create or update the information we have on file for your account"

Only what is listed in bold is information that we need. It can be either your Modern Name or Persona. Whichever is more comfortable for you.

If you are registering for an Office, please use the East Kingdom provided email address. Otherwise, please use your own email.
You should not have to adjust anything in the next section, as those are pre-filled for your use.

Then you must create a password that will be linked to the email you have provided. Please be certain to not use any common passwords or one that you use for your own personal logins.

Finally, Click on Register.

Make sure that your Passwords match otherwise you will see the following error:

You will get a confirmation screen that says:

You will also receive an email to the supplied address. This is to verify the validity of the email.
"We've just sent you an email to the address you entered. Please follow the link in the email to confirm your account and gain access to your tickets."

The email Subject will be Welcome to the East Kingdom Help Desk, and sent from East Kingdom Help Desk.

The body will look like:

Click on the supplied link below this information. You will get the following webpage open up:

The automatic response will say: "You've confirmed your email address and successfully activated your account. You may proceed to open a new ticket or manage existing tickets."

Now, back on the Help Desk website, you should be able to login to the Help Desk system and Open a New Ticket as outlined in another entry here in the Knowledgebase.
